When you're weary, feeling small
When tears are in your eyes,
I will dry them all
I'm on your side
When times get rough
And friends just can't be found
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down
When you're down and out
When you're on the street
When evening falls so hard
I will comfort you
I'll take your part
When darkness comes
And pain is all around
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down
Sail on silver girl
Sail on by
Your time has come to shine
All your dreams are on their way
See how they shine
When you need a friend
I'm sailing right behind
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will ease your mind
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will ease your mind
For me the "I" in the song is the Savior. The line "All your dreams are on their way, See how they shine," gave me hope and courage today.

I love this post, Meghan. That's one of my favorite songs. The way you expressed spending time on the swing made me tear up. I love you, and I'm glad you were able to find comfort on a hard day.
Thank you, Katie. It's good to have someone to share it with. Today hasn't been a piece of cake either, so I'm glad to hear from you and know someone's reading and cares. I love you, too.
It was fun to see your blog and see how your doing. Hopefully youll be here next Halloween.
